It is almost time for Retail Summit II in Portland! We are greatly looking forward to this event and seeing all of you there! There is a full day planned as well as an evening social filled with colleagues and friends alike.
We want to hear your thoughts and opinions on this subject… Remember, everything is on the table here, it all counts! There are still a few spaces available, so please join us!
We had an amazing session at the inaugural Retailer Summit in September at the X12 Trimester Meeting in Pittsburgh.
The discussions and input from all those who attended was amazing.
In the morning session we discussed the current state of X12 and Retail, including AS2 best practices, VAN interconnect issues, web service standardization and more.
Loren Data hosted lunch for everyone, and Jim Taylor, Chairman of the Board of X12, shared his thoughts on the future of X12.
In the afternoon, Anthony D’Angelo led the discussion around topics of interest to the future of X12 and Retail. Omni Channel challenges, Catalogs/Product synchronization and Blockchain were some of the topics included in the session.
Afterwords, Loren Data hosted one of its world renowned socials in a spacious hospitality room at the Westin.
As a result of Retailer Summit, X12 is establishing a whole new subcommittee under a new arm of X12 called Retail RSC. RSC X12 is a new counterpart to ASC X12, established to address new issues, new technologies and modern best practices. Retail RSC is an organization that you will definitely want to be part of. More information coming very soon.
Making sure our name reflects the entire retail process, we are now Retail Summit and Retail Summit II is a go at the X12 Trimester meeting in Portland, Oregon on January 23, 2018. Additionally, we will be rolling out Retail RSC and you do want to be a founder.
As per Loren Data reputation, we are planning a great evening of fun and camaraderie after the event, so plan to stay and enjoy yourself!
Please register for Retail Summit II below, and let us know how you will be attending. (We are hoping to offer a virtual option for those of you who might not be able to attend in person.)
